Lenovo IdeaTab S2 10 Android 4.0 tablet revealed

Lenovo ‘s latest IdeaTab tablet, the S2 10, has been officially unveiled, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 processor. Reskinned with Lenovo’s own Mondrian UI, the IdeaTab S12 10 is a waifish third of an inch thick and just 1.1 pounds in weight, but can also be used with a detachable keyboard dock.

Lenovo ‘s IdeaPad ultrabooks are probably its computing stars of CES , but they’re certainly not the only consumer-focused notebooks the company has this year. In fact, Lenovo has everything from from “mini laptop” S Series – apparently slotting in-between netbooks and notebooks – through the mainstream Z Series models, budget-friendly G Series, and up to the Y Series multimedia machines. Samsung wants to help you look at children – preferably your own – with the new WiFi Baby Monitor, a compact wireless-enabled IP webcam that’s designed to let cautious parents keep a streaming eye on their offspring. Fitting a 1.3-megapixel camera into a 3.15-inch diameter, 1.25-inch thick puck, the Samsung WiFi Baby Monitor streams direct to your laptop, smartphone, tablet or any other internet-connected browser. The unit can be used free-standing or fixed to the wall with the bundled bracket, while the lens itself can be tilted between 0 and 150 degrees.

The Carrier IQ controversy has snowballed quickly over the last week, with the company now possibly facing an investigation by the FTC.
