The iPhone is a lot of devices in one – it’s a browser, a gaming device, a camera, and occasionally even a phone. I guess you could think of it as a Swiss army knife of sorts. If you want to extend that metaphor in a more literal way, why not add actual tools to the device?

Netflix mobile app now iPhone, iPod Touch compatible

It looks like Netflix has quietly added iPhone and iPod Touch support to their popular Netflix mobile application that iPad users are already enjoying. The new application allows the streaming of movies, that are eligible to be added to your “Instant Queue,” over both 3G and Wi-Fi. The app is available for download now via the iTunes App Store.

Griffin PartyDock lets up to four players play a game on the iPhone

Our pals at the FCC are the source of numerous little tips about new products coming to market ahead of an official launch. The latest such product to surface is from Griffin and is a dock for the iPhone that lets as many as four people play a game on the smartphone at once. The dock is called the PartyDock and it has four wireless controllers that can be used with compatibly PartyDock games.

The devices include the Kiwi Drive Green Save Gas module, the Kiwi WiFi, Kiwi Bluetooth, and Kiwi MPG. The Kiwi Drive Green Save Gas Module is $199.99 and can be purchased now
