Importer Dynamism has announced pricing and availability for the Viliv N5 MID , which will begin shipping in the US from July 19th 2010.  The compact clamshell – which has a 4.8-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen, Intel Atom 1.3GHz Z520 processor and 32GB SSD – will be available in two configurations, differentiated by integrated 3G. The non-3G N5 will be priced at $649 and have 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GPS and a 1.3-megapixel webcam.

Epson is better known for their printers and imaging products, but now Epson is also into making netbooks. And they’ve announced their latest netbook, called the Endeavor Na03 Mini , which comes with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display and is powered by an Intel Atom N470 1.83GHz processor. Sony’s colorful new VAIO P refresh has been confirmed for a US launch, and in fact the 8-inch ultraportable will imminently be going up for preorder from around $800.  That’s $200 less than the current model retails for, though we’re yet to see a complete specification comparison.

While we told you earlier this week that the Ion 2-powered ASUS Eee PC 1201PN wouldn’t be arriving until late May , a number of European sites have gotten early review samples of the 12-inch “netbook” — if you choose to call it that — and have discovered that it doesn’t use NVIDIA’s Optimus automatic graphics switching technology. That’s right, instead we’re told by NVIDIA that the discrete GeForce 201M GPU runs continuously and Intel’s integrated chip is never used — a configuration which sounds like it’ll absolutely kill the battery life on this machine

Consisting of the GlobalFoundries 65nm chipset, the ARM 1176 CPU and FPU core, Mali 3D Graphic Core, and a full HD 1080p Video CODEC application processor, this bad boy supports multitasking, 3D graphics, and sports a camera, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Of the new netbook models ASUS unveiled at CeBIT last month, the most interesting has to be the Eee PC 1018P .  Toting not only Intel’s latest Pine Trail Atom N455 and N475 processors, the netbook has Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 3.0 connectivity along with the promise of 10hrs runtime.  TechInStyle.tv have got their hands on the 1018P, and the brushed aluminum chassis certainly doesn’t let down the high-spec guts.
