A futuristic idea which will only be seen in Sci-fi movies. The Home Sweet Home is a conceptual system which consists of a food scanner that scans food and sends the information via network to have the food produced on another device at the other end. The idea is – the delicious lasagna made by a grandma is first scanned and then sent over network to the grandson’s device, which he just needs to put in his plate to get a protective layer of gel formed that will have food produced inside.

If you like to sync your bookmarks with public bookmarking services like Delicious or Google Bookmarks, here’s a word to the wise: don’t add a bookmark linking to an email within your Gmail inbox. Because email addresses are added to title of the page when you bookmark something in your Gmail inbox, your email address then becomes publicly available on the public bookmarking site. It then becomes prime target for spam bots and for Google cache, with the potential of your email address being scattered all over the interwebs forever

Okay, so this isn’t out yet, but it’s hard to deny that the eBoy -designed Delicious Toys-developed game FixPix is probably the best idea anyone has ever had since the wheel or sliced bread. Maybe that’s a little hyperbolic, but as you know, we are huge fans of eBoy and their mind-boggling pixel art

When I got my iPad, I gave myself a mandate: Don’t lug a 5-pound MacBook around; instead, try to make do with the iPad. For the most part, I’ve been successful. My MacBook hasn’t left the house since April 3, and for what I do (writing, reading, video watching), I don’t really need the horsepower all that much. I wouldn’t want to do a day’s work on it, but it’s great for getting work done on the train, on my lunch break, etc
