Ryan Frawley still has a fair bit of work ahead of him, but his Wii Controller Demo app for Android sure holds an awful lot of promise. Available now for no charge (though a $1 paid version is available for those who dig his work), this here software allows Android users to create a Bluetooth link between their Wii remote and handset, and then log input information on the mobile’s display. As of now, there’s not a whole lot of value outside of Wiimote troubleshooting, but it’s a few lines of code away from being able to act as a controller for gaming

There’s nothing better than a simple solution to a complex problem, and for Droid owners that problem is a keyboard that’s not exactly well-suited for gaming. Having a D-pad is great, but having it on the wrong side is a bummer. Naively we thought multiplayer gaming meant you and lots of other people all over the world coming together to play simultaneously, but Zhek Kromtor’s multiboxing rig takes a slightly different approach.  Intended to allow him to log into the EVE virtual world as twelve separate characters, the convoluted system – which has multiple mice and keyboards, all stuck together with dowels – is intended to get around EVE’s block on so-called software multiboxing, where keyboard/mouse sharing apps are used to speedily control multiple characters

I mentioned earlier this morning that the Sony Ericsson X10 is up for pre-order on the Vodafone network in the UK. We have also posted our own review of the X10 here at SlashGear.
