Apple conducts probe into iPhone 3G iOS4 issues

Apple fans still rocking the iPhone 3G and 3GS who were fast to grab up the new iOS 4 operating system when it was made available for the smartphones were also the first to realize the new OS has some issues on older handsets. The WSJ reports that Apple is currently probing reported issues with iOS 4 on the iPhone 3G.

CDMA BlackBerry Curve 9300 crosses FCC’s desk

It looks like the FCC has just released the approval documents for the next iteration of the BlackBerry Curve, the 9300. Packing a CDMA radio, the 9300 looks to be the heir apparent to the Curve 2 (8530) that resides on a plethora of CDMA carriers here in the States. From the FCC filing we can see that the new Curve will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the AWS 3G band used by some smaller carriers (Cricket, MetroPCS, etc.)

As some readers may recall, back in April a certain prototype iPhone was “forgotten” in a bar, and ended up being prematurely splashed all over the Internet. Well, that whole nasty business would likely never have happened, if only that phone’s owner had been using a Bringrr. A little device that plugs into your car’s power outlet/cigarette lighter, the Bringrr gets paired up with your cell phone, then searches for that phone whenever the car is started.

Sennheiser PX 210 BT apt-X Headphones Review

Bluetooth stereo audio has certainly helped many people cut the cord between their PMP, cellphone or laptop and their headphones, but the underwhelming default audio codec also generally means cutting out some of the fidelity, too. Sennheiser are hoping to change that with their PX 210 BT headphones , which use the proprietary apt-X codec for what’s promised to be “true hi-fi quality”. Question is, how do they hold up to existing wireless-quality kings Kleer ?
