Amazon Movie and TV Streaming Proposed, May Be Coming Soon

With a brand new Apple event just about to take place tomorrow , we’re a bit surprised to hear talk of another company thinking about doing something we’ve already heard Apple talking over , in their own way. This time around, according to sources familiar with the matter, it’s Amazon, and they are aiming at taking a stab at Netflix, along with TV in general, in making an online streaming service available to its customers. According to the new report, it seems that several drafts of a proposal have made their way around corporations

Bloomberg: new Apple TV product to have Netflix streaming

Bloomberg is reporting that Apple is “preparing to announce a new set-top box that delivers TV to consumers†and that the aforementioned box “will include [streaming] movies from Netflix.†Bloomberg cites “three people with knowledge of the plans and continues: “The streaming service would be available on the revamped version of Apple TV, due to be introduced tomorrow in San Francisco. Users would pay a subscription fee to Netflix for the service.†Speculation for the time being, but the answers to everyone’s questions will be delivered tomorrow at around 1:00 PM ET. Read

Palm releases Facebook 1.3 for webOS

Today, Palm announced an update to its webOS Facebook application, version 1.3. The update brings with it selectable news feeds, revised photo tagging, support for landscape viewing, the ability to clear multiple notifications, and fan pages. ViewSonic ViewPad 7 – first 7-inch Android tablet with phone functionally, officially announced

ViewSonic has announced its 7-inch Anndroid tablet, called the ViewPad 7 , which is the first 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet with phone functionality. This device has multi-tasking capabilities and is equipped with front and back-facing cameras. The ViewPad 7 is good for almost everything including computing, web browsing, video chatting and even phone calling – something that is not found on other Android tablets.
