Intel® Reader is a mobile handheld devise intended to increase independence of the vision impaired individuals. It is designed to convert printed texts to digital text and then provides audio, of the digitized texts, to the user.
The device is perfect for those who are dyslexic or Low-vision and of course for those who are blind. With the size of a paperback book, the Intel® Reader is so easy to use. Its unique design combines a high-resolution camera with the power of an Intel® Atom™ processor, allowing users to point, shoot and listen to printed text. Not just it the, Intel® Reader can be used together with the Intel® Portable Capture Station which can now capable of capturing large amounts of text.
